Seeking a Financial Manager within the Western Cape!

Are you a qualified Chartered Accountant with a passion for finance and the gaming industry? Our client, a leading company within the dynamic and fast-paced gaming sector, is seeking an experienced and driven Financial Manager to join their team in the Western Cape. As the Financial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the full finance function for the company. Your expertise will contribute to the strategic direction, financial health, and growth of a renowned player in the gaming industry. You will work closely with the executive team and other key departments to ensure financial operations are running smoothly, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and effective financial decision-making.
 
Duties:

• Oversee and manage the full finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Analyse and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving profitability, cost-efficiency, and operational performance.
• Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.

 
Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant

 
Experience:
 

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment, preferably within the gaming or entertainment industries.
