A globally recognized manufacturing powerhouse in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is looking for a dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer to bring fresh ideas and technical brilliance to their team!

What We’re Looking For:

Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
BTech or BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering
3+ years of hands-on experience as a Design Engineer
SolidEdge and/or CAD experience (we love the detail you bring to your designs!)
A valid driver’s license and your own transport to get you where the action is
Knowledge of Axis, Pumps, Motors, Bearings, Heat Treatment, and more!

Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It):

Design and draw all things mechanical: from new ideas to improvements on existing designs
Use your creativity to develop processes, production units, machine parts, and plant components
Take your designs through testing and manufacturing, bringing them to life in the real world!
Assist the maintenance team in modifying machinery for optimum performance
Maintain accurate records of all drawings and designs
Collaborate with R&D, Plant, and Project Engineers to turn ideas into reality
