As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical evaluation stage of the sales process, ensuring customer success as data and AI become integral to modern enterprises. This role involves acting as the key technical advisor to the sales team and working closely with multiple internal teams, including Business Units, product management, and engineering. You will also serve as a trusted advocate for prospects, customers, and the broader company community.

Qualifications:

Education: A Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred.
Certifications: AWS, GCP, or Azure certifications (preferred).
Multi-cloud Experience: Proven experience with multi-cloud environments and cloud infrastructure.
Leadership Skills: Previous project development and leadership experience are highly preferred.
Technical Expertise: Experience with developing IT and cloud infrastructure solutions.
Security Best Practices: Up-to-date knowledge of best practices related to system security and compliance.
Software Engineering & Architecture: Experience in software engineering, customer experience design, and system architecture.
Business Analysis: Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
Operating Systems & Hardware: Extensive knowledge of various operating systems and experience analyzing hardware and software.
Cross-department Collaboration: Ability to work across departments to ensure smooth execution of project plans and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement & Needs Analysis: Interface directly with customers to understand their technical needs and objectives, ensuring tailored solutions are developed to meet these requirements.
Collaboration with Sales & Technical Teams: Work closely with the Sales, Growth, and Intelligent Data teams to design and propose optimal solutions for clients.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other business units, including Cloud, Digital, Payments, and RegTech, to ensure all departments contribute effectively to the solution and maximize client value.
Project Scoping & Alignment: Get alignment with clients on initial project objectives and work closely with stakeholders to define project scope and effort through workshopping and planning.
Evangelizing Vision & Buy-in: Promote and communicate the vision for the project, ensuring buy-in from all relevant stakeholders.
Solution Design & Architecture: Design customer-specific solutions, including creating detailed technical architectures to ensure all requirements are met.
Proposal Development: Craft detailed proposals and collaborate with partner teams to submit funding requests to cloud providers.
Technical Leadership: Provide clear and practical specifications for proposed solutions, including time and resource estimates. Lead the technical aspects of the project from inception through delivery.
Technology Evaluation & Improvement: Continuously evaluate the technologies currently in use, and develop strategies for improvement and optimization.
Progress Monitoring: Work closely with the Project Management Office and Solutionists to monitor the progress and implementation of initiatives.
Solution Security & Compliance: Ensure that all solutions are secure, compliant, and resilient, following best practices for system security.
Stay Informed: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to provide cutting-edge solutions.
Vendor & Partner Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with external technology vendors, consultants, and industry partners to ensure ongoing collaboration and innovation.
