Wirquin Manufacturing (Pty) Ltd as part of the Wirquin International Group is a marketleader in the manufacturing and distribution of Sanitaryware. We are looking for an energetic and dynamic teamplayer who is passionate and innovative to join our team in Kariega, Eastern Cape.

PRINCIPAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Internal          To work with all Maintenance, production personnel, SCM,  and Management to achieve KPI's and  targets and goals.

External         To liaise with Wirquin Group employees, customers and suppliers  on all required levels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for implementation of processes and procedures, leading Quality improvements with project based activities; to reduce waste, improve safety and reduce operating costs. (Using the principles of Lean Manufacturing)

Manage KPIs and ensure preventative actions are taken to maximise results.

Work on various phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate

complexity, with results impacting on project completion. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

General

§  Teamwork – Coach and mentor direct reports and communicate to all oleplayers efffectively and in line with the company's values and etho's. 

§  Identify, select and apply Organisational Policies and Procedures

§  Represent the company in internal (DPM & Management meetings) and external forums

§  Preparation of daily / weekly / monthly internal Management KPI’s and Group reporting

§  Lead the Quality team with daily tasks, projects and operational requirements

§  Participate in all relevant safety, health and environmental issues in the workplace

§  Prepares the department budget, Capex and Saving plans

§  Communicates the strategic vision clearly, adopts a corporate approach and inspire the team to achieve its goals 

Quality

§  Management of Quality Management System based on ISO9001 principles.

§  Ensure procedures are followed by all Departments through an internal audit schedule.

§  Act as the Management Representative in terms of ISO requirements.

§   Monitor and control customer complaints, non-conformance and audit report and compile management review.

§  Manage and upkeep of AutoSheq online system.

§  Ensure that quality personnel are adequately trained and posses the relevant skills to perform quality job tasks.

§  Enforcement and maintain of  CONQ systems

§  Actively engage in continuous improvement practices

§  Apply the requirements of the OHSA and other legislation in the workplace.
