Large Company dealing within the pump industry has an opportunity available for workshop manager, with a technical qualification to manage a large workshop in Johannesburg North.

Daily maintenance of workshop and office.
Staff management.
Ordering of workshop consumables and job equipment.
Designing of base plates for new quotations.(Autocad would be an advantage)
Making sure all equipment is in good working order and keeping all certificates up to date.
Maintain vehicles with scheduled services
Building of pump sets. (Training others to do this. Would prefer to have a candidate who can do the job hands on, but rather supervises others to achieve)
Liaise with Salesmen regarding pump builds. This is an important function.
Keeping a build register for QCP documents (New builds, Repairs)
Placing orders of suppliers
Assist branches with drawings and quotations on baseplates. Quality control
Site commissioning and repair work.
Ensuring the workshops in Durban, Cape Town and Rustenburg are up to scratch for their purpose. Opening up in the morning.
Monitor the drivers and stores staff.
