Position: Reservationist
Job Summary:
The Reservationist is responsible for receiving and processing reservations for customers. They must ensure that all reservations are accurately recorded and communicated to the appropriate departments. The Reservationist must provide excellent customer service and strive to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Receive and process reservation requests from customers through various channels such as phone, email, WhatsApp and online booking systems.
2. Confirm details of reservations with customers, including dates, times, and special requests.
3. Input reservation information accurately into the reservation system.
4. Communicate reservation details to the appropriate departments, such as sales, customer service, and operations.
5. Collect payment information and process payments for reservations.
6. Assist customers with any inquiries or changes to their reservations.
7. Keep accurate records of all reservations and customer interactions.
8. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
9. Stay up to date on company policies, rates, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.
10. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient reservation processes.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in customer service or reservation management preferred.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
6. Proficiency in computer systems and reservation software.
7. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
8. Knowledge of the hospitality industry is a plus.
