Job Title: Duty Manager

Reports to: General Manager

Position Summary:
The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. They must lead and supervise a team of staff members, ensuring that customer service standards are maintained at all times. The Duty Manager will also be responsible for handling any complaints or issues that may arise during their shift, and must be able to make quick and effective decisions to resolve these issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of customer service and handle any customer complaints or issues that may arise

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Assist at Front of House

- Handle cash and card transactions

- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Candidate Requirements

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions

- Excellent customer service skills

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

- Must be fluent in Afrikaans & English

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for long periods of time

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
