Job & Company Description:

A global reinsurer has been operating in South Africa since 2014, offering Life and Non-Life reinsurance solutions. Based in Johannesburg North, it serves clients across South Africa and the wider African region. In 2021, its operations transitioned to an Africa Branch following the sale of its local subsidiary. With a focus on innovation and regional expertise, the company introduced a streamlined structure in 2024 to enhance leadership and improve efficiency.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Preparation and drafting of financial statements
Compilation and reconciliation of financial data
Sourcing, interpreting, and correcting financial information
Bank reconciliations
Advanced Excel proficiency
VAT preparation knowledge specific to the insurance industry
Payment processing, booking, and cash flow monitoring

Qualifications & Experience:

BCom in Finance
CIMA
Minimum 3 years’ experience
Experience in Financial Services or Insurance
