Job Title: Senior Fire Engineer
Location: KwaZulu-Natal (KZN)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fire Engineer to join our client's team in KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection systems and engineering, with the ability to manage and deliver complex fire safety solutions for a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement fire safety systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and suppression systems.
• Conduct fire risk assessments and provide recommendations for fire protection strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local fire codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to integrate fire safety systems into building designs.
• Perform fire engineering calculations and simulations.
• Oversee fire safety system installations and ensure quality control during construction phases.
• Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
• Prepare detailed fire safety reports and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fire engineering, with proven experience in designing and implementing fire safety systems.
• In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations, standards, and building codes.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Fire Protection Engineer, CFPS) are a plus.
