Your Impactful Role:

Master the Financial Landscape: Take ownership of the preparation and management of annual financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements — guiding financial clarity and transparency.
Lead Tax Strategy: Oversee VAT calculations and submissions, while designing and implementing tax planning strategies that align with both regulatory requirements and the company’s broader goals.
Precision in Accounting: Ensure meticulous accounting through journal entries, reconciliations, and a careful eye on controls for funds and assets, safeguarding the financial integrity of operations.
Collaborate for Success: Liaise with auditors, ensuring a smooth and transparent audit process, while working in close alignment with internal teams to ensure compliance with all reporting standards.
Deliver Strategic Insights: Your analysis will not only reflect the company’s financial standing but will inform decisions that guide the next chapter in sustainable growth and operational efficiency.

The Ideal Candidate:

A BCom Honours qualification
5+ years of experience in a similar senior accounting role
A strong understanding of financial reporting standards, taxation, and the intricacies of managing complex financial statements
