Job Description:
An established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Somerset West is seeking dedicated and motivated SAIPA/SAICA/CIMA Trainees to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and complete your articles in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Perform audit procedures under supervision.
Assist in tax compliance and preparation of tax returns.
Work on monthly management accounts and related financial reporting tasks.
Engage with clients professionally and build strong working relationships.
Stay updated with current financial regulations and standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Management (or equivalent degree) recognized by SAICA, SAIPA, or CIMA.
Applicants currently completing their SAICA, SAIPA, or CIMA articles are encouraged to apply.
Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting standards.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks, or similar).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
