Export Manager

A growing Chrome ore export company, seeking a highly organized and experienced Export Manager. This individual will set up and oversee key controls for the export department, manage clearance documentation, sea freight bookings, customs compliance, and shipment planning.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement systems and controls for the export department.
• Oversee and manage clearance and export documentation.
• Handle sea freight bookings and coordinate logistics.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations in South Africa and China.
• Conduct and oversee stock reconciliations and shipment planning.
• Build and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, customs agents, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in:
  • Clearance and export documentation
  • Sea freight bookings
  • Customs regulations in South Africa and China
  • Stock reconciliations and shipment planning
• Proven ability to establish and manage operational controls.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and work independently in a dynamic environment.
