Candidates should have a relevant tertiary qualification, such as a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial role within an IT environment is essential. Additional certifications related to IT management, network security, or system administration will be advantageous.

The successful applicant will take on a key role overseeing the operation of the service desk and managing a dedicated team of service desk technicians. This role is crucial to providing first-rate support to end-users across the company.

Ideal candidates will be adaptable all-rounders, with complete knowledge of IT infrastructure. The ability to handle various IT-related challenges and a knack for implementing working solutions are key. This position demands a leader who can create and maintain a team environment while driving performance and efficiency.
