We are currently looking for a talented Junior Merchandise Planner to join our Head Office team based in Durban. 

Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

Job Related Competencies

• Monthly supplier sales and store reports.
• Turnover time with loading forms submitted and accurately listing these on the system.
• Timeously following up with orders that have been placed and not allowing these to fall off the system and not be delivered.
• Was and now pricing submitted and processed on the system.
• Review master data on product listings for errors and changes needed.
• Efficiently process and action DI's for local and cross border stock.
• Loading promotions, providing CSV's and reviewing sales for departmental adverts.
• Accurately listing new products into the system.
• Providing product listing, barcode reports and processing FOB orders for the Merch and Shipping teams.
• Accurately actioning price increases or decreases sent from the Category Manager teams.
• Action authorised changes related to product status, hierarchy, brands, barcode maintenance.
• Supplier reporting on sales, stock and store performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BCom Supply Chain Management
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Trainee Planner/Junior Planner
• Experience in working in a retail/e-commerce company advantageous
