Are you a detail-oriented Financial Manager ready to take the helm in a dynamic and fast-paced maritime and logistics environment? This is your opportunity to lead financial operations, ensure compliance, and contribute to strategic business success.

Join an established company in the maritime and logistics sector, where financial precision and operational excellence drive business growth. As the Financial Manager, you will oversee financial processes, ensure accurate reconciliations, manage cash flow, and support compliance with industry regulations. You’ll play a key role in consolidating group companies, handling taxation, and supporting month-end processes to ensure seamless financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Assist with annual external financial audits.
Capture vendor and debtor invoices on CargoWise and SAGE.
Reconcile vessel agency accounts, vendor accounts, and finished jobs.
Resolve queries with supplier and customer accounts.
Perform general ledger reconciliations at month-end.
Manage taxation calculations and submissions.
Consolidate financial results across group companies.
Maintain weekly cash flow forecasts and ensure banking payments are processed.
Oversee compliance with SARS licenses and industry subscriptions.
Maintain functionality and accuracy of CargoWise systems.
Handle any ad hoc tasks required by management.

Experience & Skills Required:

BCom Accounting or related qualification.
5+ years’ experience in financial management, preferably in maritime/logistics.
Proficiency in CargoWise and SAGE systems.
Strong knowledge of financial reconciliations, audits, and compliance.
Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
