Capac, (ex Lucernepack) is seeking to recruit a competent, committed, self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our team in the abovementioned position.

Job purpose:

Overall management of department that includes but not limited to efficiency, productivity, staff, equipment, hygiene, health & safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform Supervisory responsibilities complying with organizations policies and applicable laws.
• Plan, assign and direct work team members/Daily pack plan.
• Monitoring and analysing volumes and throughput vs capacity.
• Verifying stocks and investigating delays.
• Managing the volumes of fruit.
• Computing the quantities, qualities and types of materials required by production programmes.
• Monitoring and evaluating service delivery of suppliers.
• Controlling expenditure and ensuring the efficient use of resources.
• Controlling chemical stock and overseeing the mixture thereof.
• Directing, supervising and evaluating the work activities of professional clerical, service, maintenance and other personnel.
• Responsible for maintaining good quality according to packing standards.             
• Monitor correct packaging material, correct PLU, fruit quality packed, packing patterns used and carton weights.                          
• Managing the volumes of fruit, monitoring and analysing volumes and throughput vs capacity
• Computing the Ensure that the area of responsibility is clean and that all hygiene, health and safety policies and rules are followed.                            
• Communicate and coordinate with the production line supervisors on table volumes, fruit quality issues, incorrect sizing and PLU labelling for rectification.
