Key Responsibilities:

Daily Account Reconciliation:
- Reconcile accounts using Xero software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Address discrepancies and resolve reconciliation issues efficiently.

Catch-Up Projects:
- Work on historical account reconciliations to bring records up-to-date.
- Implement best practices to streamline future reconciliation processes.

Ad Hoc Support:
- Assist the team with miscellaneous financial and administrative tasks as needed.
- Provide input and support for various ongoing and new company projects.

System Onboarding and Adaptation:
- Collaborate with the team to integrate and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in current workflows.

Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the team, sharing ideas and solutions.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and proactive team environment.
Required Skills
- Finance Sector: 4 to 5 years
- Reconcile: 3 to 4 years

Candidate Requirements
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
Educational Background:
- A high school diploma is required; a relevant certification or degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is an advantage but not essential.
Experience:
- Previous experience in account reconciliation or a related financial role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Xero accounting software is beneficial but not mandatory; basic knowledge of how it functions is sufficient.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently and accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working well within a team.
