Join a leading investment bank as a QA Tester and play a key role in ensuring the quality of our systems and applications. We are looking for a skilled individual who is passionate about testing and ensuring the highest standards of functionality and quality assurance. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated test scripts for API testing, reviewing system functionality, and ensuring defects are identified and resolved before deployment. You will work with development teams to ensure systems are fully tested and meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain automated test scripts for API testing.


• Test system functionality and prevent defects in live systems.


• Support applications with system integration, test planning, and troubleshooting.


• Review project proposals, evaluate alternatives, and provide recommendations.


• Suggest process improvements and recommend approaches.


• Demonstrate strong automated testing experience with tools like Git, JMeter, and Postman.


• Execute test processes such as requirement analysis and test case creation.


• Validate data from XML, databases, and flat files using scripts.


• Write automated tests in Java.


• Test RESTful APIs and Webservices.


• Utilize Atlassian tools like Confluence and JIRA for issue tracking.


• Work with Jenkins to build CI/CD pipelines.


• Perform database validation using SQL queries.


• Automate API testing frameworks and report test results.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of strong testing experience.


• 4+ years in Test Automation and microservices.


• Experience in API testing, including RESTful APIs.


• Familiarity with automated testing tools like JMeter and Postman.


• Proficient in Java for writing automated tests.


• Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and Jenkins.


• Strong SQL and database validation skills.


• System Design experience is advantageous.


• Minimum of a related degree (Computer Science or equivalent).
