Our client is seeking an experienced Principal Project Manager to join their leading engineering consultancy and take the helm of complex, large-scale projects. In this pivotal role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. With your extensive experience in project management and engineering, you will drive strategic decisions, mentor junior staff, and foster collaboration across departments. Requirements:

·        BSc/BTech Construction Management or similar relevant qualification

·        Minimum of 15 years’ experience.

·        Registered with the SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager.

·        Proven track record of managing projects in excess of R500 Million.

·        Extensive NEC/FIDIC/GCC contract experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Lead the Project Management team, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

·        Act as the main line of communication between the client and contractor.

·        Manage contract administration and compliance, progress payments, variations, and contractual claims, and provide accurate financial reporting and forecasts to the client.

·        Continuously monitor contractor progress, safety, and procurement, providing regular updates to the client.

·        Ensure the client is informed of any significant changes or events and coordinate the review of contractors' procedures and work.

·        Oversee coordination between various contracts on-site and guide the team to successfully close out the project to the client’s satisfaction.
