Our client is seeking a pavement engineer expert to join their team. Take the opportunity to lead and manage key pavement projects on both local and international levels with a firm known for its rapid growth in engineering services

Design pavements, including the multi-layer design of provincial and national roads
Efficiently liaise with clients to ensure smooth project execution
Thoroughly check and review drawings for accuracy and compliance
Conduct comprehensive site inspections for quality assurance
Proficient in Pavement Modelling for effective project management
Competent in contract administration to ensure project adherence
Prepare detailed Pavement Reports highlighting key project insights
Conduct thorough visual assessments of roads, ensuring safety and quality
 
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5-8 years of industry experience
Extensive experience in Pavement design, particularly in multi-layer design
Proficient in software such as Rubicon Toolbox, cncPave, and MS Office Suite
Strong background in Contract Management Experience (COLTO) and SANRAL projects
Demonstrated expertise in Pavement Modelling
Experience in compiling Tender Documentation and Specifications, feasibility reports, Design Reports, and
Tender adjudication reports
 
Qualification:
BSC/BEng in Civil Engineering
MSc Eng degree in Pavement Engineering would be advantageous
Pr.Eng registration
