Fast-growing company in the CBD area is looking for a Head of Finance: General Finance to lead its dynamic finance team. We need a strategic financial leader who with a hands-on approach. You will report directly to the CFO, and play a crucial role in shaping the company’s financial future while leading and mentoring a talented team.

Financial Leadership: Develop and implement innovative financial strategies, policies, and controls, collaborating with senior management to drive growth and success
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee payment processing, vendor management, invoicing, and collections, while minimizing risk and optimizing cash flow
Revenue & Stock Management: Lead revenue recognition, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and oversee inventory control to provide actionable insights
Marketplace Finance: Manage financial operations related to third-party marketplaces, ensuring smooth transactions and reporting
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Own financial reporting, audits, and budgeting processes, identifying automation opportunities and ensuring statutory compliance
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing finance team, setting goals and fostering continuous improvement
 
Skills & Experience:
High business acumen
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work and keep up in a fast-paced, changing business environment
Strong general financial background with proven skills in financial accounting, budgeting and reporting, treasury, and cash flow management
Proven experience developing and managing new frameworks, processes and procedures across a growing business to ensure rigorous compliance with external and internal policies
Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
Team management

Qualifications:
CA(SA) + minimum 5 years post articles experience in retail/e-commerce
