Exciting Opportunity for a Financial Manager – Join a Leading Team in Kempton Park!

Our client, a well-established company based in Kempton Park, is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join their dynamic finance team on a permanent basis. As the Financial Manager, you will work closely with senior leadership to manage all aspects of the company's financial operations and ensure alignment with strategic business goals. This is a key leadership position with exposure to high-level decision-making, offering the opportunity to shape the financial direction of the company while ensuring regulatory compliance and financial performance.

Duties:

Oversee and manage core accounting functions, including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting
Ensure full compliance with Group Financial Policies, IFRS, and other local regulatory requirements
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements and reports to senior management
Lead the annual budgeting process, providing financial insight and strategic guidance
Mentor and lead the accounting team, fostering a culture of development and continuous improvement
Manage and coordinate external audits, ensuring all audit requirements are met on time and with accuracy
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement
Collaborate with key departments such as EMEA Treasury, Real Estate, Accounting, and Tax to align financial strategies with business goals
Stay informed on local industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the company's financial practices remain compliant
Manage relations with Tax Authorities and External Advisors on financial and accounting matters
Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations, including SOX and CNH policies
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and protect the company’s assets
Oversee cash flow management and ensure robust internal controls

Qualifications & skills:

A BCom in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
MBA or professional qualifications such as CPA/ CMA (advantageous)
3-5 years’ experience in a Financial Management role, preferably within a commercial or manufacturing environment
