TEAM LEADER RIGGING X1 (GRADING B5)

Qualifying Criteria :

• Grade 11 or equivalent
• Must have MQA competency A&B Certificate
• Rigger / Ropesman qualifications will be advantageous
• Interpersonal communication skills are required and essential
• Proficient in English and any other of 11 official languages
• Flexibility is required and essential (able to work on Sundays and public holidays etc.)
• 3-5 years in a mining environment, and or having worked in a rigging department will be advantageous
• South African Citizenship
• Clear Criminal Record

 Responsibilities :

• Provide support and best practices within the Rigging department
• Assist with both underground and surface
• Assist the Rigger / Ropesman when required
• Always take instructions from the supervisor(s) responsible for the shift
• Conduct all work according to required standards and specifications
• Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1’s safety motto : “Nothing is so important that  it cannot be done safely”
