CHAIRLIFT ASSISTANT X8 (Grading B2)

 Job specification

• Grade 11 or equivalent
• Personnel Chairlift Modules or training will be advantageous
• Must have a Fitter Aide Certificate
• 1-3 years’ experience as a Chairlift Assistant within a mining or industrialized environment will be advantageous
• Proficient in English and any other of the 11 official languages
• Applicant must possess written and verbal communication skills
• Be able to work shifts
• Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• South African Citizenship
• Clear Criminal Record

 Responsibilities

• Assist the chairlift operator with the safe operation and monitoring of chairlift systems.
• Ensure that employees comply with safety protocols and use equipment properly.
• Conduct regular inspections and report any maintenance issues
• Practice and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1’s safety motto : “Nothing is so important that it cannot be done safely”
