Purpose of the role:
To lead and co-ordinate the Rotaries plant activities and operations.
The individual will improve the effectiveness of team under his/her supervision and drive a safety culture in the plant to meet all safety objectives.
Key Role Responsibilities:
Manage team attendance and leave of absence (refer to time and attendance / leave procedure)
Ensure all employees comply with the health and safety standards in terms of PPE.
Supply the team with daily orders as per production schedule and ensure that all the necessary required material are organized and in place.
Ordering of packaging and required material for production from stores and consignment.
Capturing and monitoring of daily report of bin list and level inclusive of floor material.
Monitor operator’s performance hourly to ensure that correct material is being crushed.
Reading of emails and making sure that the plant is ready for production based on the weekly plan.
Green card system lodging for any breakdown and following up of green cards.
Ensure that all machinery, production vehicles, equipment are safe to use before start of shift.
Enforce and control the use of PPE by placing an order on Syspro and making a follow up on the raised PR.
Ensure the plant month end stock take is completed accurately in time and all deviations flagged and addressed.
Manage and control the warehouse stock by using warehouse stock management system and report on any deviations or abnormalities to the Group Leader and ensure follow up.
Schedule and provide the necessary on the job training.
Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Ensure that employees adhere to the Company policies and procedures.
Resolve conflicts or issues that may arise within the team, escalate to higher management when necessary.
Monitor the completion of tasks, ensure good performance and keep records on appropriate systems.
Provide support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team.

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications, Skills, and experience:Senior Certificate and or equivalent NQF Level 4.
Technical diploma will be added advantage.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing environment.
Computer literacy (Microsoft package and Syspro).
Strong hands on individual and team player.
Work well under pressure
