Are you an experienced IT infrastructure professional looking for your next challenge? Our client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team and take the lead in managing and enhancing their IT infrastructure.

Educational Background:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications:

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Server+

Experience:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, system administration, or a related area.
Hands-on experience with server hardware and operating systems (Linux, Windows Server, Blades, Standalone).
Experience setting up, configuring, and managing network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Veeam.
Hands-on experience with Firewalls (FortiGate).
Expertise in managing LAN, WAN, SAN, VPN (SSL/IPSEC) networks.
Proven experience in IT Security (FortiGate Firewalls on-premise and cloud, Kaspersky Endpoint Security, MFA, Bitlocker, ZScaler) and acting as the point of contact for penetration testing.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of networking protocols, IP addressing, and subnetting.
Proficiency in setting up and managing cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
Understanding of security protocols, VPNs, and encryption techniques.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Advanced knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
Experience with ITSM principles (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
Experience managing both private and public DNS records.
Windows Server administrative experience with tools such as DNS, DHCP, GPO, and Active Directory.
Strong experience working with Windows 11, Windows Server 2016, and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with VOIP and Hosted PBX systems.
