Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a skilled and motivated PHP Developer with expertise in the Yii framework to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimization of robust web applications and systems. This role requires a combination of strong technical abilities, problem-solving skills, and effective collaboration within a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable and efficient web applications using PHP and the Yii framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define project requirements and technical specifications.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Integrate third-party APIs and web services to enhance application functionality.
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging to ensure smooth application operation.
• Implement front-end solutions as needed, ensuring seamless user experience.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality coding standards and best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in PHP development and the Yii framework.

Requirements

Education & Qualifications:

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in PHP with at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Solid experience with the Yii framework (Yii 2 preferred).
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with version control systems (Git preferred).
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Understanding of MVC architecture and design principles.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix-based systems for development and deployment.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team player with a proactive approach to collaborative development.

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

• Familiarity with other PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, CI/CD pipelines).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
