We need a self-driven individual with:

• Experience: Relevant experience as a Storeman or in a similar role, ideally within mining, construction, or industrial sectors.
• Organizational Skills: Strong inventory management and organizational capabilities.
• Technical Savvy: Computer literacy is essential.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and/or Afrikaans with excellent communication skills.
• Mobility: Valid Driver’s Licence and access to reliable transport.
• Availability: Willingness to work weekends and overtime as required.

Your Responsibilities
As a key team member, you will:

• Receive & Inspect: Verify incoming materials and ensure accurate documentation of deliveries.
• Store & Organize: Manage materials, tools, and equipment to maintain a well-organized and efficient inventory system.
• Material Issuance: Supply project teams with requested materials and ensure proper usage tracking.
• Inventory Management: Conduct regular stocktakes, monitor levels, and maintain accurate records.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure materials are labeled and stored in line with safety and environmental standards.
• Monitor Condition: Identify and report damaged or expired materials.
• Logistics Support: Assist with logistics planning to meet project deadlines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with procurement and project managers to ensure material availability.
• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storage area.
• Material Handling: Assist with the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
