An IT Company based in Parktown, Johannesburg has a vacancy available for an Executive Personal Assistant. The ideal candidate will serve a critical role in the business by assisting the two key company Executives with scheduling, organization, and administrative tasks.
Permanent in-house position with a hybrid working model.

Purpose: the role of the Executive Assistant is important to the success of the Executives and, as a result, the company. The candidate will assist the executives with tasks such as scheduling; reviewing, prioritizing, and responding to emails; answering and returning phone calls; organizing documents; maintaining records; taking notes at meetings, and any other administrative tasks that help the executive perform their job.
Responsibilities:
- Manage scheduling for Company Executives
- Draft, review, and send communications on behalf of company Executives
- Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings, taking minutes of meetings
- Answer and respond to phone calls, communicate messages and information to the Executives
- Prioritize emails and respond when necessary
- Coordinate travel arrangements
- Maintain various records and documents for Company Executives
- Work directly with the MD and Director to support all aspects of their daily work routine
- Assist in PMO activities and processes including project planning, intake, prioritization, initiation, execution, and training, as well as in fostering collaboration of end-users and key stakeholders
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:
- Matric with Mathematics essential (Matric Certificate required with application)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications/courses completed advantageous
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in an Exec level Assistant role
- Advanced skills with MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Own transport and a valid driver’s license
- Excellent data handling and numerical skills
- Time-management skills
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Organization skills
- Ability to multitask
- Exposure to the Information Technology sector or industry is advantageous but not essential
