Our client based in Cape Town is seeking a talented Civil Engineering Technologist to join their dynamic team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects from design to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design:
• Develop designs for municipal services, including roads, stormwater, sewer, water, ducting, and earthworks.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and contract administration documents.
• Technical Deliverables:
• Produce high-quality technical drawings and specifications.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) in accordance with SANS standards.
• Site Work:
• Conduct thorough site inspections and lead site meetings.
• Prepare as-built drawings and comprehensive close-out reports.
• Innovation:
• Develop innovative and cost-effective solutions to engineering challenges.
• Client Interaction:
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BTech in Civil Engineering (Essential)
• Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr Tech) registration or eligibility preferred
• Minimum 5-10 years' experience in municipal infrastructure design and building environment
• Proven experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects
• Proficiency in Civil Designer and AutoCAD
