Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Draughtsman to create and modify engineering drawings using Tekla Structures, SolidWorks, SigmaNest, and other relevant systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to interpret and generate DXF files, prepare complex schematic drawings, and ensure precision in all drawing results. This role requires a combination of technical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare engineering drawings manually and using Tekla Structures & SolidWorks systems, with occasional limited design work.
Interpret and generate DXF files as required.
Read and understand detailed drawings; use Vernier callipers and tape measures for accuracy.
Accurately replicate drawings and ensure all are double-checked for precision.
Prepare complex schematic drawings from rough sketches or oral instructions.
Create detailed drawings of steel structures, including pictorial and isometric views.
Produce detailed layout, assembly, and working drawings; manage and index drawing files.
Efficiently nest plates using SigmaNest and other relevant nesting software.
