Job Description: Unit Manager Engineering Capital Projects

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
• Clear security screening record.
• Professional Certification with ECSA
• Valid driver’s license (if applicable).
• GCC (Mine Health and Safety act) will be advantageous candidate will be caring a 2.13.1 Appointment signed by the 3.1a Manager.

Education:

• National Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• NQF 7 (Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma) In Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• Advanced certificate in Project Management.

Experience:

• At least 7 years’ experience in a related role, of which 2 years should have been at a management level or experience in a functional/specialist area.
• At least 5 years’ in a project office within a mining environment.

• Project management principles and practises
• Engineering design and implementation
• Regulatory compliance within the mining industry
• Stakeholder management
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
