A manufacturing market leader is currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to fill a senior role at a facility in the Western Cape.

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a relevant tertiary qualification (production/operations management/engineering) alongside a minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing. You should bring strong people management skills and knowledge of disciplinary procedures, alongside 5 years of management experience.

As the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day production operations and focussing on implementing and maintaining efficient production processes, always with an eye on continuous improvement. Your strong people management skills will be essential for leading and motivating the production teams, including the implementation of disciplinary procedures when needed. It’s crucial to ensure compliance with technical standards and specifications and ensure plant safety stays in tip-top shape.
