Job purpose statement:

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead and coordinate construction activities on site. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating all construction activities, ensuring compliance with project instructions, and managing site operations across our Oil, Gas and Power Division.

Key Performance Areas:

• Oversee comprehensive construction delivery and project execution
• Ensure strict compliance with company processes, legal requirements, and site-based work standards
• Manage all on-site personnel, including Project Managers, Engineers, and support staff
• Implement and maintain Health and Safety policies and Environmental Management Plans
• Coordinate project stakeholders and manage project interfaces
• Provide critical progress reporting and site administration
• Ensure quality assurance and effective project controls

Qualifications:

• Technologist degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Technical Engineering
• Registered Construction Management Professional with SACPCMP
• Engineering qualification with minimum 5 years related experience

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years post-qualification practical experience in site management of large-scale, diversified projects
• At least 3 years specific experience as a Construction Manager
• Proven track record of successful project delivery and people management
• Familiarity with PMBOK Principles
