Role description:

• Responsible for managing the packaging operation in order to pack product to the correct quality and model stock, to optimize productivity, utilizing the equipment in a safe and effective manner achieving installed capacity.

Required Skills

Packaging Experience In Production Environment: 4 to 5 years
Management Level (FMCG – Food Manufacturing): 1 to 2 years

Candidate Requirements

Requirements:

• Grade 12

• Min 5 years packaging experience in production environment

• 2 years at management level (FMCG – Food Manufacturing)

• Technical background will be beneficial.

• Experience on Packing Machinery (Form Fill & Seal)

• Computer Literacy. (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Supervisor / Management training / Skills

• Own Transport & must be able to work shifts

• Customer service orientated and quality

• Drive continuous improvement processes

• Focus on quality, problem solving, Productivity focussed.

• Budgeting & Cost management

• Candidate must reside in surrounding areas or willing to relocate
