Qualifications:

Matric
ICB / Diploma in Accounting

Skills:

Advanced Excel
Pastel
2years experience in a similar role within the retirement fund space

Job description:
Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and prepare journals for posting.
Retirement Fund Accounting Administration: Assist with the preparation and maintenance of retirement fund financials and ensure compliance with fund regulations.
Fund Validations: Conduct validations to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
Bank Reconciliations: Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations for retirement funds.
Data Analysis: Analyze fund transactions and provide reports to management.
Compliance and Reporting: Support the preparation of statutory reports and assist in ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
Document Management: Organize and maintain retirement fund documentation and records.
Client Assistance: Assist clients with queries and provide exceptional customer service.
Audit Support: Assist in preparing for internal and external audits by ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes and workflows.
