Hire Resolve's client, a leading meat processing company, is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth, including for recent graduates with a passion for finance and a strong drive to succeed.

This role is based at two plants located in Elsies River (Cape Town) and Malmesbury, with a flexible working week that will eventually transition to include Saturdays. If you meet the criteria below, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

• Oversee the movement and control of all product inventories, including carcasses/boxes and dry goods/consumables, in compliance with company processes.
• Ensure accurate labelling and positioning of inventory, as well as orchestrating paperwork for creditors on stock intakes.
• Conduct weekly stocktakes and reconciliations of inventory, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
• Supervise stock take teams and maintain stable employee relations.

Management Reporting and Analysis

• Compile weekly/monthly reports on inventory movements and variances.
• Analyze patterns and trends in inventory data to support decision-making.
• Provide financial support to Plant Managers and the Analyst team regarding stock-related matters.

People Supervision

• Create a positive, high-performing working environment by managing conflicts effectively.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum: BCom degree in Finance (graduates welcome to apply).
• 3–5 years of inventory control experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience advantageous.

Other Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (essential).
• Ability to travel between the plants in Elsies River and Malmesbury.
• Willingness to work Tuesday–Saturday after the Malmesbury plant becomes operational.
• Proficiency in English literacy, computer literacy, and yield understanding.
