Job Title: Marketing Coordinator & Designer (Junior)

Overview:
We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator & Designer with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is both creative and organised. You’ll be responsible for designing marketing materials, managing projects, and helping with campaigns.
If you’ve worked in a small agency or similar environment where you handled different tasks—like design and working with clients—you’ll be a great fit. Experience creating email campaigns and managing social media is a bonus!
Responsibilities:
Content Generation & Community Management (40%)
•Create engaging content for social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
•Manage social media accounts, posting regularly, responding to comments, and fostering audience engagement.
•Monitor online conversations, trends, and audience feedback to improve content and community interactions.
•Brainstorm creative ideas for campaigns and collaborate with the team to bring them to life.
Marketing Coordination (30%)
•Plan, schedule, and manage marketing campaigns to ensure projects are completed on time.
•Collaborate with team members and partners to keep campaigns aligned and organised.
•Maintain content calendars, marketing timelines, and campaign schedules.
•Track campaign performance and prepare basic reports.
Design (30%)
•Design eye-catching visuals for social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials.
•Develop layouts for brochures, presentations, and digital content while ensuring brand consistency.
•Update templates and assist with creative concepts for campaigns.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
•Matric essential
•Marketing qualification advantageous
Experience:
•1-2 years in marketing, design or an agency role.
Skills:
•Strong content writing and editing skills, with a focus on engagement.
•Familiarity with social media platforms and community management practices.
•Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
•Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
•Bonus: Experience with email marketing platforms, WordPress, or campaign reporting tools, Experience in photography
Preferred Software Skills:
•Comfortable in Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
•Experience with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, Trello).
•Understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools.
•Familiarity with basic HTML and website CMS (e.g., WordPress) is a plus
