Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and assembly of automotive mechanical systems and components.
• Diagnose faults and determine the most effective repair methods.
• Utilize a variety of tools and machinery to fabricate and fit components as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter with a focus on automotive systems.
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical components, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant trade qualification or certification in mechanical fitting or automotive engineering.
