A leading company in Johannesburg is looking for a Finance Manager to oversee its financial operations. Reporting to the Financial Director, this role is crucial in managing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and contributing to strategic planning. Manage daily financial operations using Sage Intacct
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Develop and monitor budgets, cash flow, and profitability
Ensure compliance with South African tax laws, VAT, PAYE, and statutory filings
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely reconciliations
Implement and maintain internal controls
Provide financial insights to support decision-making and cost optimization
Lead and mentor finance team members
Support financial audits and external stakeholder engagements
Ensure optimal operation of financial systems and processes

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in finance management
Proficiency in Sage Intacct or similar financial software
Strong understanding of South African tax laws and financial legislation
Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
 
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred)
