KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Specialised Officer, Site Management.

The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

To supervise civil contractors, ensure the quality of work done, appropriateness of materials and equipment, all work is done in a safe manner, and that amounts of material used are accurate

You will have the following:

• Diploma or Trade Qualification in Civil Engineering & Construction related
• 5+ years’ working experience in civils in mining environment
• Must have Experience in the mining environment
• Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French, Swahili, and Mandarin will be considered highly advantageous.

Role specific knowledge
