Are you an experienced Senior BI Analyst with a passion for turning data into actionable insights? Our client, based in Bryanston, is looking for a dynamic, results-driven individual to join their team. If you have over 5 years of experience in business intelligence and data analysis, along with a strong background in strategic reporting, data storytelling, and mentorship, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of consumer data from diverse sources. Apply advanced analytical methods to uncover valuable insights that drive business decisions.
Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide strategic insights that fuel business growth and enhance decision-making.
Guide and mentor junior analysts, fostering their growth and providing support to help them develop their technical and analytical skills.
Use advanced graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva) to elevate the quality and engagement of reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, offer analytical expertise, and influence data-driven strategies that align with business objectives.
Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, ensuring insights align with strategic goals.
Oversee data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance processes to maintain accurate and reliable data. Lead initiatives to improve overall data quality across the organization.
Design and produce visually compelling, interactive reports and presentations that communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to key stakeholders.
Use industry-leading tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and scripting languages (SQL, Python, R) to create sophisticated, interactive reports and enhance data processing and analysis.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is highly advantageous.
5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related fields, with a proven track record of leadership and progression into senior roles.
Extensive experience working with very large datasets (billions of rows, terabytes of data). Ability to manage, process, and extract meaningful insights from complex data environments.
Advanced proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and programming languages (Python, R). Experience with data warehousing and database management.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data in a clear, actionable way.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at various organizational levels and delivering high-quality reports and presentations.
