We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Cape Town.

Role: Electrical Engineer

Industry: Power Engineering / Utilities

Level: Intermediate

Key Requirements:

•           3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering

•           3+ years’ experience in the power/utility sector

•           Professional and commercial acumen, capable of representing the company at senior level

•           Detailed knowledge of power engineering, including technical and installation requirements

•           Familiarity with power system operations and development

•           Health, Safety, and Environmental systems and procedures knowledge

•           Strong experience in electrical engineering, design, and execution of projects

•           Knowledge of testing, commissioning, fault investigation, and diagnostics

•           Familiarity with working with DNOs or TSOs in the UK or Ireland (desirable)

•           Experience in managing subcontractors and working with multi-functional project teams

•           A valid professional engineering designation or working towards IEng, CEng, PEng, Eur Ing (desirable)
