Requirements:

Experience in Structural modeling
At least 3 years’ experience in Structural Revit modeling and be able to work without supervision
Experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel
Experience in rebar detailing (preferably Probar and/or Prokon PADDS) with a good understanding of SANS 10144 and SANS 282
Ability to interpret architectural layouts and / or models for structural coordination
Ability to formalize design sketches received from the professional team and report on coordination and clash detection
Ability to interpret information from structural design reports in particular element sizes and rebar requirements
Sound knowledge of standard/typical structural details
Successful completion of projects using Revit as a delivery tool. The candidate should (if possible) provide examples in their applications
Thorough knowledge of AutoCAD as well as structural drawing practices
