Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Renewable Energy Consultant to join their team in Cape Town. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and project management support for solar and wind energy projects across Africa.

Qualifications and Experience:

·        Master's degree in engineering or a related field.

·        5+ years of experience in renewable energy consulting, with a focus on solar and wind projects.

·        In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies, project finance, and contract negotiation.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Proficiency in relevant technical software (e.g., PVsyst, WindPRO, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

·        Lead and manage technical due diligence assignments, including financial, technical, and contractual assessments.

·        Oversee project feasibility studies, design reviews, and construction monitoring.

·        Provide technical advisory services to clients during project development, construction, and operation phases.

·        Conduct technical inspections and site visits to assess project progress and identify potential issues.

·        Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations.

·        Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
