An Exciting 6-Month Contract Opportunity for a Financial Manager (CA(SA)/CIMA).

A leading steel supplier and distributor, with operations across Africa, is currently seeking a results-driven Financial Manager to join their team for a 6-month contract. This role is focused on management accounting and financial oversight, ensuring robust financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Duties:

Oversee the preparation and analysis of management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Provide insightful financial reporting and analysis to senior management, helping to drive business performance.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Ensure effective cost control and financial management across various departments.
Assist with cash flow management and working capital optimization.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Support the year-end audit and tax processes.
Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators to support business goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or CIMA qualification.
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
Strong background in management accounting, financial reporting, and business analysis.
