Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the group marketing strategy, across multichannel marketing, to support overall business goals.
- Manage the strategy, execution, and performance of all online marketing platforms and campaigns.
- Define and drive the brand strategy and product marketing strategy to ensure cohesive and compelling messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
- Product Marketing
- Lead, create and execute product marketing plans, including launches, positioning, and messaging.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure product features and benefits are effectively communicated to target audiences.
- Analyse product performance and customer feedback to refine product marketing strategies and enhance market positioning.
- Digital Marketing
- Champion digital marketing strategies, encompassing SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), SEM (Search Engine Marketing), paid Ads (Google Ads and Social Ads), email marketing, and content marketing initiatives.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging digital marketing trends and technologies to ensure the company maintains a competitive edge in the industry.
- Manage, maintain and enhance our digital reputation, specifically in the Google Reviews and Hello Peter environments.
- Collate, compile, analyse and report on the various brand and marketing channels for comprehensive and top-level reporting to the executive leadership.
- Marketing Campaign Management:
- Plan, execute and optimise integrated marketing campaigns that align with clearly defined marketing objectives that align with and enable the achievement of the core business objectives, both in terms of brand development and lead generation.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximise ROI and support product marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Team Management:
- Build, mentor and manage a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to encourage creativity and productivity.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement professional development programmes for team members.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with shared services to ensure cohesive marketing efforts and product alignment.
- Collaborate with external agencies, partners, and stakeholders to enhance marketing and product initiatives.
- Brand and Product Management:
- Maintain and enhance the company's brand image and reputation, ensuring alignment with product marketing strategies.
- Ensure consistent and compelling product messaging across all platforms and materials.
- Market Positioning:
- Conduct competitive analysis to effectively position products within the market.
- Develop strategies for market penetration, customer acquisition, and retention specific to product verticals.
- Oversee market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends and customer needs, with a particular emphasis on product positioning and market fit.
Qualifications:
- BA Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years marketing experience including 5 years in a senior management role, driving the product, brand and digital strategy for the business
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful product marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.
Personal Attributes:
- Demonstrated record of success in brand, product and digital marketing in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience with marketing automation and digital platforms.
- Must be able to review, interpret and understand data received from various sources, and make the necessary changes to optimise results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
