This role involves supporting local teams to align product strategies with regional and global objectives. Responsibilities:

• Assist in defining strategies for product groups (B2B) based on business objectives.
• Support the development and implementation of innovative, competitive, and sustainable product ranges.
• Manage regional assortments for respective product categories to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Collaborate with global product teams on business development, portfolio governance, and innovation scaling.
• Monitor revenue performance and assist in implementing measures to improve sales and market share.
• Analyze customer feedback and product usage to inform product roadmaps and lifecycle management.
• Drive innovation projects through to commercialization.
• Participate in market and competition analysis to identify relevant trends and opportunities.
• Engage with the sales team through customer visits, briefings, and project support.
• Provide portfolio updates through internal and external media channels.
• Conduct in-house training to enhance understanding of the product portfolio.
• Collaborate with the pricing team to optimize margin structures and initiate adjustments.

Requirements:

• Degree in Food Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Food Technology, Product Management, or Applications in the Dairy, Beverage, Food, or Chemical industries.
• Residing in or near Paarl, South Africa.

• Salary: negotiable.
