Our client, a well-established player in the manufacturing sector, is looking for a talented and driven Financial Accountant to join their team in Johannesburg North. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing valuable financial insights that support the company’s operational goals.
 
Duties:

• Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, and variance analysis.
• Manage cost structures and cost accounting processes, ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and cost allocation.
• Develop, implement, and monitor budgets and forecasts, working closely with operational and senior management to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in the general ledger. Reconcile accounts and maintain the integrity of financial data.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity, preparing cash flow forecasts to ensure the business has adequate working capital.
