Our client, a leader in the citrus industry for over 100 years, has an opportunity available for an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to join their team based in Citrusdal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): *Ensuring that products are manufactured in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining high quality standards *Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand and achieve production targets *Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met *Implement and oversee production policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations *Manage and motivate the team of production staff, providing training and support as needed *Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations *Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions *Ensure a safe working environment for all production staff and adhere to health and safety regulations *All other tasks related to this position.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Production, Management or Process Management;
• Minimum of 2 years’ of experience in production management;
• Experience with citrus processing principles will be advantageous;
• Knowledge of BRC certification;
• Knowledge of production processes and best practices;
• Proven track record of achieving production targets and quality standards;
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.

Commencement date: March/April 2025
